Mindfulness is a state of awareness.

Mindfulness is defined as the ability to live fully in the present moment with less judgment and more acceptance of our experiences. According to Merriam Webster, it is the practice of maintaining a nonjudgmental state of heightened or complete awareness of one’s thoughts, emotions, or experiences on a moment-to-moment basis.
Each moment is viewed as profoundly precious and significant.
Being fully present in the right here and right now allows one to perceive directly without preconceived notions and judgments. We are able to be unfiltered and shed the watered down versions of ourselves. We can release all thoughts of past experiences or future mysteries.
We live in the infinite depth of now.
This feeling is truly liberating and a motivating factor of why many choose to live a spiritual lifestyle. It allows you to experience a more fulfilling and gratifying existence. The doctrine is simple:
The universe is you and you are the universe.
The exchange of energy is enlightening and invigorating. This concept burns brighter with every breath you gratefully inhale. With each exhale you commingle with humanity, uniting a greater awareness to the reality of connectedness.
When people feel this sense of well-being throughout and within their soul, this naturally progresses into the way they see the world and how they interact with and value others.
This is a strong cycle with an appealing quality so many aspire to achieve. Learning mindfulness allows us the transformation necessary for all encompassing change and growth.
A settled spirit is achieved when you focus your intent on the present.
We learn how to better love and respect ourselves. We develop self-compassion or lovingkindness, which is how to respond to ourselves with kindness when we are suffering. The conceptualized theory of lovingkindness is manifested by the nonresistant application of experiencing life fully in each moment.
